"Obtaining Buy-in for Aircraft Noise Annoyance-Trading Analysis Methods"
will be held on
11th March 2010
from
9:00 to 16:00
at
Nationaal Lucht- en Ruimtevaart Laboratorium (NLR)
AnthonyFokkerweg, 2, Amsterdam
The MIME project is a new and innovative European Commission 6th R&D Framework-sponsored research project looking at whether an aircraft noise trading scheme could provide a new and beneficial means of balancing environmental and operational concerns for European air transport. More information can be found below and at http://www.mimeproject.com/
This Seminar/Workshop will briefly cover the results of the first two years of work on this project. However, the major part of it will be concerned with the storyboards and simulation methods to be employed in the analysis of the candidate trading methods and annoyance indices. Participant reaction and advice will be actively encouraged to ensure that these methods and indices are analysed using realistic scenarios and to obtain the buy-in of the different stakeholders for the work being performed.
The seminar is open to all members of the Air-Transport community, including: airlines; ANSPs; airport operators; regulators; local, regional and national government and NGOs.
To register for this seminar, please send an email with your Forename, Lastname, Company, Date of Birth, Nationality and Passport Number
